Pricing FAQ

How exactly is revenue measured for billing?

We measure the gross merchandise value (GMV) processed through your Shopify store each calendar month — the same number you see as "Total Sales" in Shopify. We don't add our own tracking code or claim attribution on anything; we read directly from your Shopify orders. Refunds are not subtracted from the billing base.

Does the rate actually decrease as I grow?

Yes. The 0.33% rate applies to your first $100k of monthly revenue. Above that, the rate steps down automatically — you pay less per dollar as your store grows. This is calculated automatically every month; you don't need to do anything or change plans. Stores above $2M/month move to custom enterprise pricing so you never see a scary automated number.

What happens during the 30-day free trial?

Full access to every feature — CoPilot, all 6 analytics modules, daily emails, SEO intelligence, everything — for 30 days with no credit card required. At the end of the trial you can connect your Shopify billing or let it lapse. We don't auto-charge anything.

How does billing work on the Shopify App Store?

StoreTracker uses Shopify's usage-based billing API — the same system Klaviyo uses. At the end of each billing cycle, Shopify calculates your store's revenue for the month, applies the 0.33% rate (with the volume discount automatically), and bills the result to your Shopify account. You manage it exactly like any other Shopify app subscription.

Can I use StoreTracker outside the Shopify App Store?

Yes. You can connect directly at store-tracker.com and pay via credit card. The pricing model is identical. The Shopify App Store install is the most convenient option since billing is handled automatically through Shopify, but either method works.

Is there a minimum fee?

There is a minimum monthly fee of $9 for stores with very low revenue — this covers our base infrastructure costs. For any store doing more than ~$2,700/month in revenue, 0.33% exceeds this minimum and the formula applies directly.

What if I run multiple stores — do I need the Agency plan?

Not necessarily. If you own multiple stores you can connect each one independently on the merchant pricing (each billed at 0.33% of its own revenue). The Agency plan makes sense when you want a single dashboard across all stores, white-label reporting, or client-level access controls — or when you're managing stores for other businesses.

Can I cancel any time?

Yes, any time, no questions asked. Cancel directly from your StoreTracker account or from the Shopify Apps page. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you want to reconnect — after that it's permanently deleted.
